About

My Story

If there are any areas in your life, where you would like to improve, be it physical, emotional or spiritual, you have come to the right place. This practice is offering you not only bodywork and ayurvedic therapies, but a true experience. It is specifically designed for you.

Today, Salomé enjoys her work offering traditional Ayurvedic Therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Basti’s and deep tissue massage for pain management in her private practice in Weaverville, NC. In addition to her practice, she has been faculty at the Ayurvedic institute in Asheville, NC, where she taught Shamana - ayurvedic palliative therapies to ASP2 students.

Salomé was born and educated in Switzerland as a registered nurse. Since her teenage years she has been drawn to natural healing, such as aromatherapy, homeopathy and herbalism. In her early 20's as a nursing student, she became fascinated with Ayurveda, it's methods and abundance of wisdom and the lens through which to observe wellbeing and health and its wholesome approach integrating body, mind and spirit.

Upon moving to the US in 2005 she continued her education to become a licensed massage therapist in the state of New Mexico and has been licensed since 2007 and been conducting a successful private practice, helping people find ways out of physical and emotional pain and upgrading their lives to the next level of being.

Ayurveda and Yoga crossed her path again in 2013,  this time it was the attraction of a vortex. Having lived with an injury from birthing her daughter and a car accident shortly thereafter, she was seeking ways in which to heal her injuries and manage chronic pain. Yoga offered her deep access to what was ready for healing.  What was a painful and at times impossible journey, became the reason to thrive again. She went on to study Ayuryoga at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque with Dr. Vasant Lad. After spending over 650 hours at the Ayurvedic Institute she continued with a formal training in Ayurveda at New World Ayurveda with Dr. Paul Dugliss, MD, and received her certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner Level in 2018. She continued her studies and graduated 2019 with a certification in spiritual mentoring and Heart Based Meditation Instructor.

Most recently Salomé has enjoyed an intensive training in peruvian andean mysticism, curanderismo and shamanism. Upon request she conducts limpias (cleansing) and personalized ceremonies.

Her greatest Joy

There is nothing that Salomé enjoys more than to support those who are ready to awaken to their highest truth and most authentic selves, and the magic of living in alignment with their highest potential utilizing the tools of Ayurveda, Andean Mysticism, Curandersimo and Shamanism. To guide and walk with those who are ready to transform through letting go of old, outdated ways that no longer serve and stepping into what is most aligned at this time, has been her greatest priviledge.
